What is Bharat Connect (BBPS)?
Bharat Connect — the network formerly known as BBPS — is the Reserve Bank of India's interoperable bill-payment system. Every payment you make here is routed through it, which is why the amount you see is the real bill from the biller and why you get a standard confirmation reference.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. Sign-in is protected by two-factor verification, credentials are encrypted, and every action is logged. Payments run through regulated gateways and the Bharat Connect rails — we never store full card or bank details.
What does the convenience charge cover?
A small convenience fee is added on top of the bill amount to cover payment processing. It's always shown clearly before you confirm — the total you approve is exactly what you pay.
What if a payment is left pending?
If the money is collected but the bill payment hasn't completed, the transaction stays in your history as pending. You can refresh it to re-check, and if it can't be completed the collected amount is eligible for refund.
