Refund & Cancellation Policy

Cancellations

Insurance and education bill payments are processed in real time over Bharat Connect (BBPS). Once a payment is submitted and accepted by the biller, it cannot be cancelled through this console.

Failed payments

If an amount is collected by the payment gateway but the bill payment does not complete at BBPS, the transaction is marked as pending and can be re-driven using the Refresh Payment action. If the bill payment cannot be completed, the collected amount is eligible for refund.

Refund timelines

• Eligible refunds are initiated to the original payment method.
• Refunds are typically credited within 5–7 working days, subject to the gateway and issuing bank.
• The convenience charge is refunded together with the bill amount when a bill payment fails after collection.

Duplicate payments

In the rare event of a duplicate collection for the same bill, the duplicate amount is refunded in full on verification against the transaction history.
