Privacy Policy

AshrithPay ("we", "us"), powered by SUMARAJ NETWORKS PVT LTD, operates a console used by our authorised staff to pay insurance premiums and education fees on behalf of customers through Bharat Connect (BBPS). This policy explains what information we handle and how we protect it.

Information we handle

• Operator account data — name, mobile number and an encrypted password used to sign in.
• Bill data — the biller and account identifiers entered to fetch a bill (policy, student or customer references), and the bill details returned by the biller via BBPS.
• Transaction data — amounts, convenience charges, gateway order references and BBPS transaction references, retained for audit and settlement.

How we use it

We use this information solely to fetch bills, process payments, generate invoices, and maintain a transaction history for reconciliation, support and statutory record-keeping. We do not sell personal data.

Security

Credentials and one-time passwords are stored using strong encryption. Access requires authentication with two-factor verification, and all activity is logged. Payments are processed over regulated payment gateways and the Bharat Connect network; we do not store full card or bank credentials.

Data retention

Transaction records and invoices are retained for the period required by applicable financial and tax regulations, after which they are archived or securely deleted.
